Hembree & Associates, Inc., was founded in 1985 by Joe R. Hembree, Owner/President, and is a well-known name in both Sarasota and Manatee Counties as well as the Gulf Coast region for its hard work, dedication, and integrity. Mr. Hembree has over 25 years experience in all facets of Commercial Real Estate. He is a current Board member as well as the Past President and Secretary of the Sarasota Association of Realtors, Commercial Investment Division, past Chairman of the Sarasota County Committee for Economic Development, Founding Member of the Tampa Bay Partnership and numerous other Boards and Organizations. Steve Ross, Senior Commercial Associate, has over 25 years experience in commercial real estate, sales, leasing, and management. Steve has thorough knowledge of the Sarasota commercial real estate market and is regularly employed by outside national real estate groups, as a local expert for their clients’ real estate needs in the area. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Sarasota Association of Realtors Commercial Investment Division as Vice President and will be the incoming 2006 President. Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree in Financing & Marketing from Florida State University.

Kenneth E. Hoskinson, Jr., Commercial Associate, is a native of Sarasota and has been involved in all facets of the community and has extensive knowledge of properties and investors throughout southwest Florida. Mr. Hoskinson is a member of the Sarasota Association of Realtors, Commercial Investment Division, as well as the Young Professionals Group. Ken received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from University of Central Florida, specializing in Real Estate.

John Caragiulo, Commercial Associate, brings to Hembree & Associates over 15 years of experience in food service and hospitality based industries, specializing in consulting, leasing, and site acquisition. John is a member of the Sarasota Board of Realtors, Commercial Investment Division, The Sarasota Downtown Partnership, and both the National and Florida Restaurant Associations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Dayton.

Richard Ross, Senior Sales and Real Estate Broker, has over 25 years of experience in real estate acquisition and development. Richard has been directly responsible for developments as diversified as a six hundred home golf course development, to retail and office commercial developments. Richard has extensive knowledge of governmental permitting requirements, and has been a member of the Sarasota Association of Realtors, Commercial Investment Division since 1997. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Engineering Science from Florida State University and completed one year of graduate study in Systems Engineering at Florida State University.

Dawn FitzGerald, Commercial Associate, has lived in Sarasota for over 30 years and has been an active member of the community. She comes to us with 10 years of mortgage banking experience and has been a member of the Sarasota Association of Realtors since 1994. Ms. FitzGerald received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Florida.

Anthony Homer, Commercial Associate & Property Manager, has lived overseas for 20 years and brings a global perspective to Hembree & Associates and is a member of the Sarasota Association of Realtors, Commercial Investment Division.
